Pace and Effects

"Piledriver Waltz" by 'Alex Turner' is a relatively slow paced song, because of this the video has to match the song. It is quite somber and mellow and therefore by creating a video with flashing lights and quick movements wouldn't fit the song choice. We have chosen to use a very unsaturated colour scheme, almost black and white. This is to keep in some of the autumn colours captured in the footage, yet also to keep the atmosphere of the song. By having the video overly saturated would possibly distract from our interoperation of the song to mean heartache and depression.
